Make a Statement During the Month of Fashion

Once Christmas and New Year’s Eve are behind us, the beginning of the year can feel a little dreary. However, February is on its way to shake things up and delight us with all of the fashion-world’s latest offerings. The second month of 2018 hails in the month of fashion that we’ve all been waiting for! It’s about to be Fashion Week across the globe, so we’re ready and waiting to see what gorgeous creations hit our favourite capitals. 

London will always have a special place in our hearts, being home to our flagship store. The city kicks off one of the biggest fashion events of the year, with London Fashion Week taking place between February 16^th-20^th, before the fashionistas head over to beautiful Milan for 21^st-27^thand then ultra-chic Paris from 27^thto March 7^th. It’s going to be week after week of couture, culture and plenty of celebrations.

We’re extra excited about LFW this year, because of the Positive Fashion Initiative, a pledge that the British Fashion Council made in 2017 to ensure best practices in the fashion industry, and make the industry a more positive place to be. The initiative looks at sustainability in supply chains for fashion houses, encourages local craftmanship, and (perhaps) most importantly celebrates model health and diversity.

If you’re heading to an event at one of February or March’s Fashion Weeks, or perhaps you’re just going to be in one of these cities when Fashion Week is taking place, it’s the perfect time to make a fashion statement of your own.
