Oysters in Whitstable
July 31, 2015
The Emmy team had a fun-filled day at the Whitstable seaside to celebrate a successful year.

Oysters were on the menu at the amazing Whitstable Oyster Fishery Company. The team tucked into wonderful fresh oysters sourced locally to start and then devoured delicious lobsters smothered in garlic butter and grilled to perfection.

After a delicious lunch and a few bottles of fizz it was time to brave the crisp Whitstable Bay water.
Vicky our Operations Director was the first to take the plunge and was soon followed by other brave team members.
Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse and we had to seek shelter under the canopy of a nearby beach hut - of which there are many along the gorgeous coastline.

Following the our swim we headed down to The Old Neptune a quaint pub close to the beach with incredible views of the sunset and nearby Isle of Sheppey.
After drying off indoors and watching the sun go down we set off for the train back to London. Luckily Emmy had thought ahead and had a variety of sweet treats to keep us going on the way home.
It was a lovely day of fresh air and delicious food, we're looking forward to the next team Emmy adventure!
