Judith's Fabulous Experience as Our Competition Winner: A Perfect Match of Cefinn and Emmy London

The Perfect Shoes for a Special Day

Joining Emmy at the London boutique, Judith tried an array of styles and colours to find the perfect pair of shoes to complement her Cefinn dress.

"My reaction when I tried on your shoes? Firstly, they were incredibly comfortable, and secondly, they were so beautiful! I was choosing shoes to wear to my daughter Cicely's wedding and knew I needed to wear heels. However, most of my time is spent wearing flats, so I was worried I'd find heels tricky. I needn't have worried. I was instantly convinced and I felt incredibly glamorous."

Judith initially tried on a blush pink pair of shoes but, with a bit of guidance from Emmy, decided to go bold with a striking red pair to complement her dress.

"The second I put them on, I knew they were the ones—absolutely perfect for a wedding! I could also think of many other outfits they'd look great with long after the wedding was over."

Judith Chose Our Candy Red Block Heels

"The cut of the shoe was very elegant, a super-simple design, yet with a solid, blocky heel. Somehow this reduced my anxiety at wearing a higher heel, particularly because the wedding was in Cornwall, and we had a marquee in a field by the sea. I didn't want to sink into grass with spindly heels. I was also giving a reading in church, so didn't want to topple over en route down the aisle! The scarlet suede and the chic outline made them stand out from any other special occasion shoes I have owned."

A Hollywood-Worthy Look

Paired with the Cefinn dress, the Emmy shoes created a sensational look that Judith describes as unforgettable.

"I felt absolutely amazing wearing the Cefinn dress together with the Emmy shoes - and matching bag. One of the guests commented that my matching bag and shoes took my outfit to 'a whole new Hollywood level!' Honestly, I can't tell you how many guests - mainly in their late 20s - complimented me both on the shoes and the dress, wanting to know where I got both from."

Beyond the compliments, Judith also shared how comfortable the shoes remained throughout the long day, from the ceremony to the dance floor:

"Given that I put the shoes on at around 1pm, for a 2pm wedding, and removed them after midnight, after much dancing, I can honestly say that my feet didn't hurt, and I am now committed to wearing beautiful heels more often. I am an Emmy convert!"

As with many outdoor weddings, Judith's shoes faced a bit of wear after the big day. Luckily, Emmy London's shoe care kit came to the rescue:

"Given that the shoes were a little worse for wear after a rainy wedding day, I decided to order the Emmy shoe cleaning kit. I followed Emmy's online advice (on Instagram), buffed the suede with the cleaning block, and they came up perfectly, ready to be worn again on another special day."
